"What do I know of You who spoke me into motion? Where have I even stood but the shore along Your ocean? Are you fire, are you fury? Are you sacred, are you beautiful? What do I know? What do I know of Holy?"

Mockingjay
Well, I just finished Mockingjay... at 3:30 a.m. And, honestly, I have mixed feelings about it. Yes, I cried more while reading that book than I have with any other. Yes, I feel that it brought closure, thus a good ending for the trilogy. But, I don't know. Maybe it was because half of my favorite characters were killed just to get to the aforementioned closure. Or the fact that it just wasn't what I was expecting, although I don't really know what I expected, anyways. For everyone to live happily ever after... maybe that would have been a little satisfying, but not believable.
I guess I loved the book anyways, for its realness. And, deep down, I don't like really like happy endings. So, I'm content, and will be able to sleep tonight without wondering what's going to happen next.
That's it for my incredibly short blog post. But I'm tired, and have a lot of school to catch up on. Yeah, I've managed to get behind in the short time since school's started back up. Looks like this is going to be a good year.
